More Famous Mexican Paintings
This is another one of my favorite Mexican Paintings. It was done by Diego Rivera. He was a very prolific artists and produced many great paintings. Even though he is famous for his murals I enjoy almost all of his work. When researching famous Mexican paintings Rivera always comes up, again and again. Yet I never get tired of looking at his beautiful work. I particularly enjoy this image because of the message I believe it tells. The painting will mean something different to everyone, so I'll let you decide what it means to you! Stay tuned for more updates on famous Mexican paintings and art!

Paintings and Art
All of the time that I've spending thinking and researching Mexican paintings and art has made me want to create some art or a painting of my own. I decided to not be too picky about what type or anything and just let my creativity flow. I've been addicted to Astarte's Mega-Zine. I can't even explain how cool all of the issues are. For those of you who don't know Astarte's Mega-Zine is an online magazine is stuffed full of art tips and information about art and paintings. You can check them out here or click the image at the bottom. I have found all of their issues to be really helpful. Right now I don't think I'm good enough to post pictures of any of my attempts at Mexican painting and arts, but maybe soon. I would definitely recommend you check out Astarte's Mega-Zine, its very inexpensive and definitely full of lots of helpful things and a great deal. I can't want for the next issue.

Famous Mexican Paintings, Art, and Painters
When one thinks of famous Mexican Painters the first person that comes to mind is usually Diego Rivera. That is if any name comes to mind! He is a very famous Mexican artist with many great paintings and works of art to his name. The image to the right is a picture of his famous mural at the National Palace. In addition to this mural he also made many more, including some controversial ones. A few of his murals are pictured below.
Although Rivera's murals are clearly beautiful works of art, I am partially to his paintings. This Mexican painting by Rivera is simply called Flower Carrier. I like this painting because of its simplicity and powerful message. I believe that this is in my top ten Mexican paintings for sure. Hope that you like it too!
